this is my deal:

I am a lawyer living and working in Toronto. I articled with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, Civil Law Division, Health and Long-Term Care Branch, where I assisted a wide range of practice areas including privacy, data integration, digital health, and access to information. I graduated in 2018 with a J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. and in 2015 with distinction from the M.Sc program at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford. My academic research focuses on the chilling effects of the surveillance methods underpinning digital government and the need for consumer protection law reform. Before graduate school, I was an open government and civic technology advocate, and researched the executive wage gap. In another life, I was an intern on Jersey Shore at MTV and made music videos for my friends.
